Newton LDP was instructed by the landowner and Rainier Developments to market this prime development opportunity and identify a development partner to acquire the site.
An Outline Planning Application was submitted to Coventry City Council on 1st October 2024 seeking ‘Outline Planning Permission with all matters reserved for future determination, save for the means of access via Sandy Lane, for: the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of up to 250 dwellings, site access and highway works, green infrastructure and children’s play area, public amenity space and ancillary works’ (ref: PL/2024/0001869/OUTM). Outline Planning Permission was granted under delegated powers on 29th May 2025.
The site was sold to Dandara, their first site for their newly opened region, and the sale completed in November 2025.
